Annelinda van Eck, Project developer and Project manager for Sustainability

‘As a project developer, I am involved in the acquisition and development of homes in the intermediate and higher segments. Besides my regular work, I also participate in the innovation workgroup, Sustainable Building. In this group, I can make good use of the knowledge which I have acquired over recent years in the area of sustainable building. It's a young and dynamic setting with space for people from a wide variety of disciplines and from various backgrounds!.'

I have been working for Vesteda as a rental agent since the beginning of 2004, and I still very much enjoy my work. I have a wide range of responsibilities, which includes existing homes, new homes, and commercial units. In addition, I have many opportunities to work on my personal development as well as considerable freedom with regard to my work within the applicable guidelines.

‘I worked for two years as a housing consultant, after which I was asked to take on the position of account manager. I was obviously quite pleased to find out that my employer thought I had the necessary potential and rewarded me with a promotion. After the birth of my first child, I will switch to working four days a week. I think it's very important to find a good balance between work/career activities and one's private life. At Vesteda, I am given ample opportunity to find an optimum balance.’
