Giving notice and moving out

If you're planning to move, you will need to take care of various matters. In the first place, you will need to give written notice to your Woongalerie that you are cancelling your rental agreement. In response, Vesteda will contact you to schedule an initial and final inspection. You must always keep the following aspects in mind.

Written cancellation of your rental agreement

You must give written notice that you are cancelling your rental agreement. You can give notice on any working day after a minimum rental period of one calendar year as long as you give one month’s notice. For example, if you give notice on 17 July, your rental agreement will end on 17 August. If the termination date happens to fall on a weekend or a holiday, then the agreement will end on the first subsequent working day. The cancellation of your rental contract becomes valid once we have confirmed your cancellation.

The relevant address information is contained in the letterhead. Please note! Take the necessary mailing time into account: we must be able to process your termination in our administration in good time. Therefore, your written termination must have reached us before the date of termination!
