If a rental unit becomes available, Vesteda makes use of its database with rental candidates. Vesteda actively searches for a candidate whose profile and residential preferences are most in line with the available residence. In doing so, we do not use any registration lists with criteria such as length of time registered or any of the other frequently used points systems.
If you are already a Vesteda tenant and have any questions, you will probably find the answer in the 'For tenants' section of this website.
In order to be eligible for a residence, you must meet two criteria: an income criterion and a search profile criterion.
Income criterion: Your gross monthly income (not including any temporary supplements) must be at least 4.5 times the monthly rent. The Vesteda housing consultant checks the applications to determine whether they comply with the income criterion. For example: if the monthly rent for the rental unit desired is €550 per month, the required minimum gross income is 4.5 x €550 = €2475 per month.
Exceptions: For pensioners, the gross monthly income must be at least 4 x the monthly rent. For two-earner households, the collective fixed monthly income (from open-ended employment contracts not including additional payments, bonuses and holiday pay) must be at least 5 x the monthly rent.
Search profile: The search profile for a specific residence is generally related to the residential ambience in the complex and the lifestyle of the tenants living there. The search profile is formulated in such a manner as to optimise the quality of life for all those concerned. The Vesteda housing consultant determines which applicants are appropriate for a specific residence on the basis of the search profile.
