Green Bond

News update: 16 May 2019
Vesteda, the leading Dutch residential real estate investment fund, rated BBB+ (stable) by S&P, has mandated ABN AMRO as Sole Green Bond Structuring Advisor, together with BNP Paribas, ING, Rabobank and SMBC Nikko as Joint Bookrunners arranged a series of fixed income investor meetings across Europe starting on Friday May 10th 2019. A EUR fixed rate 8-10 year inaugural Green Senior Unsecured Reg S Bearer benchmark transaction will follow, subject to market conditions.

On Thursday May 16 Vesteda successfully issued its inaugural green bond. This is the second benchmark size bond under its €2.5 billion EMTN programme and the first EUR green bond by a residential fund. The €500 million bond has a term of 8 years and a coupon of 1.5%. The bond was more than 6 times oversubscribed: Vesteda first residential fund to issue a EUR green bond.

Relevant stabilisation regulations including FCA/ICMA will apply. Target market (MiFID II product governance) is eligible counterparties and professional clients only (all distribution channels). No PRIIPs key information document (KID) will be prepared as not available to retail in EEA.

EMTN Programme

Vesteda has established an Euro Medium Term Note-programme (EMTN). The programme will form the basis for Vesteda’s future medium and long term debt issuance in both international and domestic markets. The programme enables Vesteda to issue bonds and notes up to a total aggregate amount of €2.5 billion.
