Rooseveltlaan 552 26 Utrecht

Living in De Roosevelt

In the Southwest district, at the foot of the Prince Claus Bridge, which was opened by Princess Maxima in 2003, is the beautiful complex De Staatsmannen. This complex consists of four apartment towers, each with the name of a statesman and this is also visible in an exceptionally beautiful way in the building, including "de Roosevelt" which owes its name to the American statesman and president Theodoor Roosevelt. In the 1904 presidential election, he became the first former vice president to be elected to a term of his own after the death of his predecessor. In 1906 Roosevelt became the first American to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. The building, which has seven floors, is well located in relation to the center of Utrecht, the A2 and A12 highways, the Papendorp office district, international school, public transport such as buses around the corner and Central Station within cycling distance. The apartments in the complex are bright, well-kept, and well-maintained and are completely up to date. The luxury apartments with energy label A are free of natural gas and have two, three or four rooms, a complete Bruynzeel kitchen with appliances, luxury bathroom with walk-in shower, underfloor heating, balcony, and storage in the basement. In addition, several apartments have a floor. The location of De Roosevelt in the Southwest district is surrounded by water, making it a water-rich district that comes close to an island and therefore has something special to offer its residents. In addition, it is surrounded by the important traffic arteries: the Beneluxlaan (where the express tram also runs through the central reservation), the Weg der United Nations and the Dominee Martin Luther Kinglaan. The location of these roads can be called a consequence of the strict separation of housing and traffic. The Roosevelt is located on Churchilllaan which is the connection between the Prince Claus Bridge and the 5 mei square. Looking for greenery in the city? No problem, Park Transwijk is just around the corner, a place to relax or enjoy the animals at the petting zoo. The park is also the venue for events such as the Liberation Festival. A good place to live and work, but to enjoy yourself, De Roosevelt has it all! FYI: Mandatory purchase of parking space. The costs are 50 euros per month. The complex is equipped with a city AED. All 3-room apartments are also suitable for home sharers.
