In the Southwest district, at the foot of the Prince Claus Bridge, which was opened by Princess Maxima in 2003, is the beautiful complex De Staatsmannen. This complex consists of four apartment towers, each with the name of a statesman and this is also visible in an exceptionally beautiful way in the building, including "de Roosevelt" which owes its name to the American statesman and president Theodoor Roosevelt.
