Allocating homes responsibly

Each month, you spend part of your fixed monthly expenses on the rent for your home. We want to allocate our homes responsibly, which is why we apply the following rule of thumb: we usually divide your (combined) gross monthly income by four. This amount is your maximum rent.

You can also use the Nibud rent calculator (Huurwijzer) on our Dutch website to calculate what part of your income you can spend on rent. Calculating your fixed monthly income and expenses will give you a good understanding of your financial situation. If you do not have sufficient income to pay your rent, we may be able to support you in other ways, for example by finding you a less expensive property in our portfolio.
